I realize I haven't been commenting to the beta requests in the CFO posts. This does not mean I don't want PW characters! It is so so very much the opposite omg app from my canon plz DDDD: It's just that I'm being a bit selective about what I beta at the moment and I didn't want to look like I was playing favorites. >:

THAT SAID. I want to beta for folks! So here's the post to... tell you that I am open to betaing for folks. (I will put pimping up here too once I get back from work.) A couple stipulations, though:

1) I'm not betaing for Maya at this time. By my count, it looks like there are at least a couple Maya applicants gearing up, plus another person who contacted me earlier than that. This is wonderful! I love you all! I want a Maya desperately and absolutely! But... if I beta right now, I will be unhelpful at best and horribly biased at worse. I may change my mind later on, depending, but for now, I really shouldn't beta any Maya apps. Please please don't let this discourage you from apping, though.

2) I am slow as a rock in molasses, especially when I'm busy. (Which is...now, 'cause I'm back at school and they messed up my schedule a;slkdjgjkkk.) I will probably need time to process and get back to you. That said, I am capable of doing a rush job too, so if it gets down to the wire and you really need me, I can do it. For the most part, I nitpick diction, flow/pacing, and structure. Voice I can sometimes assist with. Otherwise, I'm a light beta.

3) This has nothing to do with PW but I LOVE HEROES IF YOU APP FROM HEROES I WILL BETA FOR YOU TOO. :Dd

That...incident still affects you pretty badly, huh.

We, your lawyers of Camp Fuck U Die, would like to earn our keep. (And besides. PW-style trials are too cracky not to do.) Obviously we can't just walk into camp and solve the murder, so! Edgeworth and I would like to run goofy trials from time to time so that a) we can look cool and dorky awesome and b) everyone else can point and laugh. Sound like fun? Of course it does.

However, we can't do it alone! (It'd be no fun with just the two of us, after all.) I'm using this post to collect ideas, volunteers, suggestions, etc. Note: We're trying to do this for fun. We're not going to do trials all that often, and we'll probably skip around/mix and match ideas and/or volunteers depending on practical concerns and how fun we think it'll be to handle the suggestion. So please don't feel too bad if we don't go with your suggestion immediately. Also, these should be cracky, goofy trials. We can handle a serious topic but only if it's done in a completely off the wall way.

Some stuff that we'd like suggestions/volunteers for:

Suggestions: Type of crime, method of carrying out crime, murder weapon, evidence, general ideas about what the case would be like
Volunteers: Defendant/suspect, witness, detective, plaintiff, judge, jury

Three orders of business before I start anything! Well, four. Thanks again for voting me and Edgey in omg omg omg ♥ x 100000

1) Since Phoenix is here on OFFICIAL ACKSHUN LAWYER BIZNESS, he will be conducting investigations of campers, counselors, and...um...everything! This means he'll be in ur business, asking possibly uncomfortable questions. If you don't want him to pick too hard (or at all!) in regards to your characters' secrets, plz plz tell me. (Alternately, if you really want him to dig down deep, I'm good for hearing that too.)

2) PSYCHE LOCKS. For those who haven't played the game, psyche locks are basically...um...locks on someone's psyche that pop up whenever they're lying about something big. They usually just pertain to the big secrets, although I'll bet that Phoenix has a pretty good intuition for lies by now anyway. If you'd like Phoenix to be able to see psyche locks on your character, lemme know. More details (like how many psyche-locks on a secret, on a scale from 1-5) would be great, but they totally aren't necessary. Also, you can say "yes investigate me" while also saying "no don't use psyche locks" if you want.

3) Paperwork! I'd like Phoenix to have case files on people a la Simon's medical files. Fill out what you want, if you feel like it, and feel free to put in X's or jumble things as you like. Format is as follows:

Gender/Sex:
Occupation:
Criminal Record: Totally up to you what'd be listed here. General stuff like genocide or smuggling...or a full list! Anything you think camp would have on them.
Additional Info: I know I'm forgetting something. Oh well.
